Friends

      I  used to be a  lonely and isolated person ,umwilling to open my mind.Fortunately,I finally got over my pains and realized the  meaning of friendship.I thinks friends play important roles in our life because we share the same interests.Sometimes , a good friend can understand you more than your families and helps you when you are in need.Recently, I feel tired and stressed, my heart beats fast becaese there so many things to handle. I told  this situation to one of my friends,he comforted and told me that everything is gonna be alright.
After hearig his words ,I did not feel nervous anymore and I thought his suggestions are uesful.When we walk on the path of life, we have to face obstacles and disappointments , it is really hard to face them on our own, thus we need supports and encouragements from friends.What is more ,a friend can open your eyes and learn a lot of things.I can really feel the joy and warmth that my friend to me.

Internet Addiction

        Internet addiction is described as a kind of mental disease and disorder,I think many people do suffer from it, including myself.The Internet is surely a very useful tool,we use it to do reports and assignments as well as hand in them.I also like to use Facebook to interact and chat with my friends, if I do not check this social network one day ,I will feel restless and lack of satisfaction. Also , search engines provide so much information that you can easily get the knowledge you need.It really save a lot of time and efforts.Student rely on GOOGLE to tell them answers.Some people are addicted in playing online games , they do not feel hungry or sleepy when they are soaked in games, therefore, they ignore their families , works and studies.A few parents forgot to feed their babies and caused tragedies. A part of them live in a visual world , they cannot get in touch with the people in reality.Overusing the computer males me hard to concentrate on my textbooks and pay attention to my teachers.What is more, my head feel dizzy and  my eyes hurt when I continuouly use a computer.I think one should not waste so much time on the Internet , we have to live a balance and healthy life , thus , how to manage your time is very important.In short, to quit the habit of overusing the Internet is essential.

Chen Wei-ting

     Recently, there  is a noticeable  news which triggers towering waves, a student  from Tsinghua University called Chen Wei-ting  who dared to interrogate the minister of education .
    The media blame him on being impolite and bad mannered , then he soon became a target and was bombarded with strict criticisms.I think he is brave and probably  too emtional  when he faced the authority,but he reminded us the media are so twisted.Maybe his behavior has to be more considerate, there are a lot more problems that we should pay attention to. Chen grew up from the bottom of out society,he exactly  knows what people need and gets ro realize the corruption of our government.He concerns about many serious issues such as argriculture, rights of laborer, commercialization of education and  media monopoly.He is person with  a great vision , he said about one ot two hundred students garher together and talk about these tough topics.When the government only wants to steal money from citizens and ignore impotant issues , that will be disasaters.I think adults are conservative , they should encourage teenagers to express their  feelings and opinions.When the ruling party and oppisite party bring Taiwan to the edge of pain and despair,a young generation rises and find the stage, they try to lead  our futute , they should not be oppressed and  scolded.We need someone who is brave and  wise  enough to lead us from darkness into the light.

The concert

      Last Friday, I went to  Zhongshan Hall  to attend a concert.The musician is Teo Gheorghiu who is a very famous pianist in the world.In addtion to his skill as a pianist ,Teo is also a talented actor.In 2006,he starred in title role of the movie.VITUS.Telling the story of a young piano prodigy,the film has recieved numerous awards and as a result Teo has performed at many important occasions.what's more, he is a keen sportsman-playing football with almost as much energy and passion as he does the piano.I and my seniors spent three hundred and sixty NT dollars taking the taxi to our destination,I thought it was a little bit expensive.It was raining that day , but we were still in a good mood.I enjoy the music throughout the concert .Teo uses a delicate and elegant way to perform and express his feeling.He regards music as a positive experience and an international language ,learning music can open our eyes. Everyons likes different kinds of music thus enriching our lives.

A nice trip

       Last saturday , I went to three interesting places . At first , we were worried about rain. Fortunately , it did not rain much that day.There were fourteen people in our group ,and we rode motorcycles to the destinations.
       Our first stop was Taichung County Gaomei Wildlife Refuge(Gaomei Wetland),it has special soils mixed with mud and sand. Ecology here breeds diversified organisms of both plants and animals. Research shows that animals here include birds, fishes, crabs and invertebrates.Everyone seemed to become children when playing with sand and water ,we chatted happily all the day , I felt really pleasant to be with those friends.
       Then we headed to Seaport Art Center, it is a really interesting place. We appreciated many exhibitions that show edgy and modern art.The outside are courtyards , there are some trees ,flowers ,waterfalls as well as classic architectures.They are so beautiful that I was intoxicated with the scenery.The last stop was Feng-Jia night market, which is the most famous and visited night market in Taichung.This place is a paradise for those who enjoy delicous and cheap cuisine.I did not eat much because I care about my weight, but my companions ate some tasty snacks and they shared with me.Also we found a lot of low-priced clothes and shoes.
       This was a very joyful experience, I cherish every moment and keep this memory in my mind.

My favorite sport

           I enjoy doing exercises , such  as swimming.soccer,running,moutain climbing and so on.but my favorite is still tennis,i think this sport is full beuty and strength.Tennis is enjoyed by millions of recreational players and is also a hugely popular worldwide spectator sport  There are four grand slams tournaments every year,they are Franch open ,Ausralia open,US open and Wimbeldon.I love to watch these games every year and learn the skills from  those brillant players,such as Roger Federer,Novak Djokovic and Rafeal Nadal.I think tennis is a relatively safer sport compare with others because it does not need physical contact. Also, you can practice on you own, just hit the ball to the wall if thre is no one practices with you. This kind of sport requires delicate techniques and good phycological codition.If a player wants to win and gain the final glory , he or she must has outstanding skill as well as great     perseverance.If someone wants to be a master of this field , it really takes time and effort.The reason why I like tennis is that it helps me to relax. I iust forget everything when I am playing tennis because it is very interesting.

My opinions about education

  Student in Taiwan often go to cram schools and burn the midnight oil ,to get good grades and
  live up to expectations. but i think those scores are so real because students only know standard anwers .they cannot think independtly and rely on the Internet or teachers to tell them .Also , I think we stay up late and pay with our health.When it comes to exams , some students may feel very nervous and even become sick. There are so many assignments and tests that we do not have enough  time to cope with,everyone only has 24 hours a day.if the education system can give students more time and space to develope their potentials and interests , they will find theur hidden talents and become happier.

 If I have children the  future, perhaps I will send them to foreign countries to experience a free education.Education should not be used to train students as tests machines or memorizing tool
 Our country need elites that are craetive and compassionate.We should not only understand the contents in textbooks but also know how to use knowledge in a correct and practical  way.

Briefly speaking , I consider that study should not be a pressure for students.

An exciting thing in my life

When I was in junior high school, I participated an very interesting activity .

Our school asked every student to go camping and mountain climbing .what is

most special was that we had to set tents and cook on our own .this is quite challenging

because we were not used to these kind of stuffs. Before we headed to our destination

, we had learned many skills about how to tie ropes and pitch tents.

Cooking is not an easy task, we had to set fire, wash vegetables and fry ingredients.

It is  unadvoidable to get dirty because we had to use coral to set fire.

The most unforgettable experience was the night tour, our seniors and teachers pretended as

ghosts to scare us, but I was not frightened at all. I remembered the

midnight snack was fried chicken, perhaps it was the most delicious one I had ever ate.


It is hard to describe the scenery I saw in the mountain , when I was standing on the top of it ,


l feel really amazing and satisfied, just like in a paradise.My classmates and I saw many fireflies


 and beatiful stars that we had  rarely seen  our daily life.


I have always kept this precious memory in my mind,as I grow older , the experience remain fresh

 and unforgettable.I really cherish this special moment in my life.



My hobbies

         I have many different kinds of hobbies, such as reading books,listening to music ,watching movies ,playing the piano and traveling.
         Among these hobbies, I love playing the piano and traveling most.basically, I enjoy playing
musical instruments ,watching music vedios and going to concerts.Music plays an important role in my life, it provides an access fot me to release stress and express my emtions , when I need something to cheer myself , musoc immediately flashes into my mind.Sometimes ,people need to find
somewhere to escape ftom busy daily  life, I think traveling is the best way to get rid anxiety . When I take a trip with my best friends and chat with them along the way, I can really feel the sense of happiness. Also , the beautiful sceneries let me appreciate the delicate qualities of nature.
        My hobbies give me the strength to move on, especially when I feel frustated or under great pressure.

An incredible genius

       He is the elite of his time and the icon of renaissance, so devoted to science and art,full of
curiosity and creativity, there is no one like him that could master all kinds of knowledge.
  
        Leonardo was and is renowned primarily as a painter. Among his works, the Mona Lisa is the most famous  portrait and The Last Supper the most reproduced religious painting of all time.Leonardo is praised  for his technological ingenuity,he came up with the idea of a helicopter, a tank, concentrated solar power and  a calculator.Leonardo also studied and drew the anatomy of many animals, dissecting cows, birds, monkeys, bears, and frogs, and comparing in his drawings their anatomical structure with that of humans.

     


  

The environment

 What happened to our beloved earth？It has become more fragile due to pollution caused by humans. Since the beginning of industrialization, people has begun to pursue high-quality living, but we have limited land and resources, human has started to invade habitats of animals and destroy our beautiful Nature.

 

   Nowadays, we face many environmental problems, such as global warming ,acid rain ,landslide ,extinction of precious species, coral bleaching, drought and so on.

The environmental imbalance gives rise to various environmental problems. Some of

the environmental problems are pollution, soil erosion leading to floods, salt deserts and sea recedes, change of river directions, and vulnerable ecosystem in place of more complex and stable ecosystems, depletion of natural resources, waste accumulation and thinning of ozone layer. The environmental problems are visualized in terms of pollution, growth in population, development, industrialization, unplanned urbanization etc. Rapid migration and increase in population in the urban areas has also lead to traffic congestion, water shortages, solid waste, and air, water and noise pollution are common noticeable problems in almost all the urban areas since last few years.

 

   What can we do to protect the environment? I think everyone has the ability and responsibility to make this world become a much better place. From our daily life,there are many ways to help the earth, such as recycling, taking mass transportation and be a vegetarian. Eating less meat produces less CO2,it is also good for the land and our health.We should educate the next generation and let

My observation about NCHU

         It feels interesting and fresh to study in this university .I can arrange my schedule and
depend on myself.At first I did not get used to leave home ,soon I found people here are really
friendly,especially the seniors ,it makes me happy to be with them.
        There are many student clubs in NCHU,some of them are fascinating and practical,it is hard
to choose which one to join in,but I already have my plan and I hope to get more time to participate
in so many activities.Students here love sports so much,and my favorite is tennis.Living in this university is very convenient ,I can easily withdraw money and eat without any sweat.I am glad to
talk about our library,it is large and its enviroment is very comfortable,so I often take short breaks in the library.
         In short .I am honored to be apart of NCHU , and I am excited to know more about it .
